Our story
Rustic Heart was born late in 2011 as an idea that Lisa and David had whilst in the UK looking through the many boutique homeware stores that line the high streets of England.
After careers in sales and the retail industry spanning over 20 years we felt that the timing was right and the family at the right age to start our own homeware & gift store.
Fast forward to 2014 and that dream has become a reality with the opening of our store “Rustic Heart” Homewares to Treasure located at 118 Union Road Surrey Hills in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
We have filled our gorgeous store with gifts and homewares from some of our favourite suppliers. We attend trade shows regularly and are always on the look out for new goodies.
We believe that your home should be a tranquil, relaxing retreat from the outside world, and we strive to find pieces with a story to tell, creating things that you’ll enjoy for years to come.

Surrey Hills
Rustic Heart is in Surrey Hills in the leafy Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Housed in a listed building dating from around the 1920’s; it’s the perfect setting for our relaxed take on living.
Also local to the Union Road precinct are cafes, post office, bank, bakery and select boutique stores offering an array of wares. Whilst here why not take a stroll around Surrey Park – just over Canterbury Road.
